Privacy Policy | Ticket Bot

Hunter Mods ("we", "us", or "our") operates TicketBot, a Discord bot and accompanying web dashboard (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the Service:

Discord account data — your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address (provided via Discord OAuth when you sign in to the dashboard).
Server data — Discord server IDs, names, icons, channel IDs, and role IDs for servers where TicketBot is installed.
Ticket data — messages sent inside ticket channels, ticket metadata (creator, category, timestamps, status), and transcripts of closed tickets.
Staff notes — internal notes written by staff members about tickets or users, stored in our database.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely to operate and improve the Service:

Authenticating you to the dashboard via Discord OAuth.
Displaying and managing tickets, categories, and settings for your server.
Generating ticket transcripts and making them available to authorized staff.
Providing analytics on ticket volume and activity.
Processing premium subscription payments (via Stripe — see Section 5).

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

We retain ticket data and server settings for as long as TicketBot remains installed on your server. If you remove the bot or request deletion of your data, we will delete all associated records within 30 days of your request. To request deletion, contact us via our Discord support server.

4. Data Security

We store data in a secured MongoDB database. Access is restricted to authenticated API routes and is protected by session-based authentication. We do not store Discord bot tokens or OAuth secrets in the database.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Discord — for authentication and bot functionality. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.
Stripe — for processing premium subscription payments. Stripe handles all payment data; we do not store credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy can be found at stripe.com/privacy.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice in our Discord support server. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
